Throughout my career as a bodywork therapist, I have been trained in Shiatsu, therapeutic massage, Thai massage and Californian massage. Currently, I no longer follow just one specific technique, but instead make use of all of these techniques and my experience for the benefit of the client, applying at all times what I think is the most appropriate technique for the situation, making each session unique.
The following are the treatment options that I offer:
Cranial massage is intended for those people who tend accumulate most of their tension in the upper part of the body and who feel that they need to free their mind from everyday stress.
With this massage to the neck, skull and face, tension relief is achieved throughout the entire eye area, cervical region, shoulders, jaw and therefore the person in general.
This massage will help you feel rested and with a relaxed mind.
FULL BODY MASSAGE
Full body massage is the most requested in my practice. By listening to what your body needs and using a firm and respectful touch, we will work on the reason that brought you to me, whether it is simply to relax or to relieve tensions in your body.
You will have my full attention as I accompany you on a journey to yourself.
FULL BODY MASSAGE, extended version
This extended version of the full body massage allows me to attend to those areas that require more time and attention, without sacrificing attention to the rest of your body.
If you have time or if you need to completely disconnect your mind and give your body a real rest or you just want to treat yourself, this is your massage.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage is primarily directed at the deeper layers of the muscle and connective tissue, which means that more pressure is applied than in other types of massage, resulting in greater mobility and flexibility and a deeper and longer-lasting state of relaxation.
Due to the nature of this technique, this massage is highly indicated for deep release of accumulated muscle tension, especially in people who generate muscle tightness due to stressful situations over time. It is also very useful for athletes who accumulate certain degrees of muscle tension as a result of their training and who need to stay in ideal shape in order to compete.
If you like a more intense massage and your goal is to treat those contractions that persist over time, this is the massage for you.
If necessary, we may consider scheduling an osteopathic visit to improve your overall health.
